Christmas Light Installation FAQ
Everything Central Florida homeowners ask us — costs, what's included, roof safety, booking, and more. Don't see your question? Ask us directly.
How much does Christmas light installation cost?
Most Central Florida homes fall between $800 and $2,500 for a complete all-inclusive package. The three biggest price drivers are roofline length, number of stories, and how many trees you want wrapped — a single-story roofline outline sits near the lower end, while a large two-story home with wrapped oaks, garland, and landscape lighting lands higher. We do have a seasonal minimum, and remember what the price includes: custom design, commercial-grade LED lights and all materials, professional installation, free service calls all season, January takedown, and off-season storage. Send us your address and you'll have a custom quote within 48 hours — no obligation.
What's included in your service?
Everything. One price covers a custom lighting design for your specific home, commercial-grade LED lights and every clip, cord, and timer needed, professional installation by our insured crew, FREE maintenance and service calls for the entire season, takedown in January, and storage of the display at our warehouse until next year. No hidden fees, no material charges, no service-call charges. You never touch a ladder or a storage tote.
Do I buy the lights?
No — and that's the best part. We own the lights; you lease the display. That means no upfront purchase of lights that fade in two seasons, no storage boxes in the garage, no tangled strands or burned-out bulbs to troubleshoot. If anything fails, we replace it free. And because you're not locked into lights you bought, you can refresh or completely redesign your display each year just by asking.
Can you install lights I already own?
We don't — and it's for your benefit. We exclusively install our own commercial-grade LED lights because that's the only way we can guarantee the quality of every bulb, cut every strand to fit your roofline exactly, and back the whole display with free season-long maintenance. Customer-owned retail lights fail at rates we can't stand behind. With our lights, if anything goes dark, we fix it free — that guarantee only works when we control the equipment.
Are you insured?
Fully. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage, and our crews are trained on roof safety, ladder safety, and electrical best practices. If a company can't show you both GL and workers' comp certificates, the risk of an installer's injury on your property can fall on you — never let an uninsured crew on your roof. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
When should I book?
Now — seriously. Our install calendar fills by October every year, and installation runs October through November. Booking early gets you the best pricing (early-bird discounts apply) and first choice of install dates. And here's the part people love: we can install your display early in the season, and YOU choose when to turn it on. Early install doesn't mean lights blazing on November 1st — it means zero stress when the season arrives.
Will installation damage my roof?
No. We never use nails, staples, screws, or adhesives on your roof. Every light attaches with professional clip systems purpose-made for shingle rooflines and barrel-tile-safe methods for tile roofs. The clips grip the shingle edge or tile profile, hold the line perfectly straight all season, and remove cleanly in January without a trace. Your roof is also protected by our full insurance coverage.
Do you offer discounts?
Three ways to save: book early (summer and early-fall bookings get our best pricing), take an early install date (October installs cost less than the late-November rush — and you still choose when to light up), and refer a neighbor (referral credits apply to your next season). Streets with multiple neighboring installs may also qualify for group pricing — ask when you get your quote.
What areas do you serve?
All of Central Florida from our home base in Apopka: Orange, Seminole, Lake, Osceola, Volusia, Polk, Brevard and Sumter counties. Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, Winter Garden, Lake Mary, Clermont, Kissimmee, DeLand, Lakeland, The Villages, the Space Coast and dozens more cities.
What happens if a light goes out?
You text us, and we fix it — free. Every package includes unlimited free service calls for the entire season. Whether it's a single dark bulb, a section knocked loose by a storm, or a timer that needs adjusting, our crew comes out at no charge. If a bulb goes out on Christmas Eve, we fix it free. That's the whole point of professional lighting.
When do the lights come down?
January — and takedown is included in your price. Our crews return after the holidays, carefully remove every light, clip, and cord, and transport it all back to our warehouse for storage until next season. You do nothing. No ladders in January, no boxes to the attic, no tangled mess waiting for you next Thanksgiving.
Do you do commercial properties?
Yes — shopping centers, HOA entrances, offices, restaurants, hotels, and retail storefronts across Central Florida. Commercial clients get the same all-inclusive model plus W-9 and certificates of insurance on request, references, and budget-maximizing design consultation.
Do you offer event or wedding lighting?
We do — weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, quinceañeras, and private celebrations, year-round. Market lights over a reception, wrapped oaks framing a ceremony, elegant landscape uplighting — designed, installed, and removed on your schedule.
What colors and styles are available?
Whatever fits your home and your family: classic warm white (our most popular estate look), vivid multicolor, red and green, red and white candy-cane patterns, or fully custom color schemes. Every display uses commercial-grade C9 LED bulbs on the roofline, with matching mini lights for tree wraps and landscape accents. Timers are always included, so your display turns on at dusk automatically.
