Bella Collina is the gated Tuscan-themed estate community on the hills above Lake Apopka and Lake Siena in Montverde, built around a Nick Faldo golf course and a hilltop clubhouse. The villas are large Mediterranean homes with barrel-tile roofs, towers, arched loggias, courtyards and terraces facing the water, and the community's architectural guidelines keep every exterior to the theme. It is about thirty minutes from our Apopka shop, just across the lake, and one of the fastest high-end addresses we can reach.

Tuscan architecture gives a designer a lot to trace. A Bella Collina display outlines every tile roofline, tower and dormer in warm white C9 bulbs using tile-profile clips that never touch the tile, wraps the loggia arches and courtyard columns, and lights the terraces facing Lake Apopka so the house reads from the water and from the ridge road. Olive and cypress trees get uplights, palms by the motor court get spirals, and the community's own entry and clubhouse set a high bar every December that the homes match.

The gate requires a certificate of insurance and vendor registration, and the architectural committee's guidelines keep designs classic, which is how we design here anyway. Installs on villas of this size take most of a day, so we confirm the date and crew size when we quote. Everything runs on a dusk timer, maintenance is free all season with service usually within a day given the short drive, and January takedown and storage are included.
