Christmas Light Installation in Deltona, FL

Deltona is the largest city in Volusia County by population and one of the largest in Central Florida by area, a planned community from the 1960s that spread across the hills and lakes between Lake Monroe and the St. Johns River. Nearly every home is a single-story block ranch on a quarter-acre or more, with mature oaks and pines, and many back onto one of the city's lakes. It is a forty-minute run from our Apopka shop on I-4 and we schedule it with DeBary and Orange City on west Volusia route days.

Single-story rooflines and generous yards make Deltona designs simple and affordable: a warm white, red-and-white or multicolor C9 run across the front roofline and garage, a wreath over the door and one or two trunk wraps on the front oaks. Because lots are wide, a wrapped tree or a lit row of shrubs does a lot of the work of filling the yard with light. Lakefront homes around Deltona Lakes and Lake Monroe frequently ask for the rear roofline or a dock to be lit so the display shows across the water. HOAs are rare here, so scheduling is flexible.

Deltona's size means we group installs by section of the city, usually two or three route days a week from late October through November, and neighbors who book together are installed on the same visit. Timers run the lights from dusk, maintenance is free all season, and we return in January to take everything down and store it. Deltona homeowners who have hung their own lights for years tell us the January takedown alone is worth the price.
