Christmas Light Installation in Montverde, FL

Montverde is the small hilltop town on the west shore of Lake Apopka, across the lake from our Apopka shop and about thirty minutes around by road. It is known for Montverde Academy and for Bella Collina, the Tuscan-style gated estate community on the ridge above Lake Siena and Lake Apopka, and the rest of the town is older single-story homes and acreage lots with long views. Montverde runs on our south Lake route with Clermont and Minneola.

Bella Collina's villas are Mediterranean, with barrel-tile roofs, arched loggias, towers and long horizontal rooflines that carry a warm white C9 outline beautifully, using tile-profile clips that never touch the tile itself. Cypress and olive trees get uplights, palms by the motor court get spirals, and because the homes sit on a ridge, the rear elevation facing the lake is lit as often as the front. The community's gate requires a certificate of insurance and vendor registration, and its architectural guidelines keep designs classic, which suits us.

Elsewhere in Montverde the homes are simpler, single-story houses on big lots with oaks, and the design is a roofline run plus a wrapped tree, with lakefront homes adding the dock. Montverde installs are grouped with Clermont on south Lake route days two or three times a week from late October through November. Everything runs on a dusk timer, maintenance is free all season, and we return in January for takedown and storage.
