Christmas Light Installation in Mascotte, FL

Mascotte is the small city at the west end of south Lake County's SR 50 corridor, past Groveland and just short of the Sumter County line. It was a citrus and turpentine town for a century and is now filling in with new subdivisions on the rolling land around Knight Lake and Lake Sumner, alongside older single-story homes near the downtown. We reach Mascotte in about fifty minutes from our Apopka shop and run it as the last stop on south Lake route days with Clermont, Minneola and Groveland.

Mascotte's newer communities off SR 50 and Villa City Road are two-story stucco homes with small palms at the entry, so designs follow the south Lake pattern: both rooflines outlined in warm white or multicolor C9 bulbs, columns wrapped, palms spiraled. The older homes closer to downtown have simple rooflines and mature oaks, and a single roofline run plus a trunk wrap fills the yard. Lots on the hills have long sight lines, so a well-hung roofline in Mascotte can be seen from a long way down the road.

Because Mascotte is at the far end of the route, we ask neighbors to book the same day so the trip is efficient, and any route fee, shown on the quote, is usually waived when several homes on a street go together. Installs run late October through November, timers handle dusk-to-bedtime, maintenance is free for the season, and we return in January for takedown and storage.
