The Villages is the largest retirement community in the country, spread across Sumter County and into Lake and Marion, about an hour from our Apopka shop up US 441. Its three town squares at Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood each put on nightly holiday events in December, and the villages themselves decorate with enthusiasm and within the rules. We run The Villages on dedicated route days from late October through November and group homes by village so the trip is efficient and neighbors can light up together.

Most homes here are single-story courtyard villas and designer homes with clean, simple rooflines, a screened lanai and a small palm or two at the entry, and that combination makes for fast installs and very affordable packages. The classic Villages design is a warm white C9 roofline, a lit wreath on the front gable and a spiral-wrapped palm, on a timer set to come on at dusk and off at a sensible hour. Because so many streets share similar footprints, we can price accurately from the address and often quote the same day. Premier homes on the golf courses have longer rooflines and take a fuller design with wrapped columns and garland.

The Villages has architectural standards and many villages have their own display guidelines, so designs stay classic and we install and take down inside the approved windows. Residents who spend part of the season away can have the lights installed before they leave and taken down after they return. A small route fee may appear on the quote and is usually waived when several homes on a street book the same day, which happens often here. Maintenance is free all season with service calls grouped onto the next route day, and January takedown and storage are included.
