Christmas Light Installation in College Park, FL

College Park is the historic neighborhood north of downtown Orlando along Edgewater Drive, with brick streets, 1920s and 30s bungalows and Colonial Revivals, and lakefront homes on Lake Ivanhoe, Lake Adair and Lake Silver around the Dubsdread golf course. It is one of the closest Orlando neighborhoods to our Apopka shop, about twenty-five minutes down US 441, and its December tradition is strong: Edgewater Drive decorates, and the residential streets follow.

A College Park bungalow rewards restraint and precision. Warm white C9 bulbs along the main roofline and the porch gable, garland on the porch rails and around the columns, a wreath on the door and warm white mini lights in the porch ceiling is the classic look, hung with clips suited to wood fascia and never fastened into painted trim. The live oaks that arch over the brick streets take a trunk-and-limb wrap that lights the whole front yard. Lakefront homes around Lake Adair and Lake Ivanhoe often add the rear elevation and dock so the display shows from the water.

There is no HOA in most of College Park, so scheduling is flexible, and the neighborhood's compact streets let us install several homes on one visit. Installs run from mid October through the week before Thanksgiving, timers handle dusk to bedtime, maintenance is free all season and we return in January for takedown and storage. Because we pass through College Park on the way to downtown and Winter Park most days of the season, service calls here are among the fastest we offer.
